As an alumna and educator, Jo Ann Cherami Brannock (PhD, Psychology, 1981) celebrates CGU’s profound role in shaping her career. She taught at several Southern California universities and credits CGU for instilling in her the discipline that helped her earn her clinical license on her first examination in 1992. Now retired, Brannock looks back fondly on a rewarding career in academia, private practice, and as a trial expert.

Steve Kim
Steve Kim (EMBA, 2012) proudly congratulates CGU on its Centennial. Having served as president of the Alumni Association Board from 2021 to 2025, he championed initiatives that strengthened alumni connections and advanced the university’s mission. At CGU’s 2024 Commencement ceremony, Kim spoke about the importance of community and service, themes reflected in his new book, Focus on What Matters: Aligning Your Business with Your Purpose.
